Build-A-Brand Brings Revolutionary Tech to Auto Industry with Launch of Proprietary Engagement Platform

The innovative and non-disruptive digital platform equips sales associates with a powerful app suite that integrates a dealer's marketing efforts and sales staff's social media strategies to enhance and personalize a prospect's buying experience.

Build-A-Brand announced recently the completion of an encouraging and successful year-long beta test with selected top auto dealers. In addition to beating key performance indicators, the company and dealerships observed a significant increase in sales and employee retention.

“It has been interesting to have other salespeople come and ask me for the app,” said Glenn Lundy, general manager of the 2017 Chevrolet Dealer of the Year, Dan Cummins Chevrolet/Buick. “Our sales associates are building their own ‘business within the business’ and that has been like jet fuel as far as their energy and production.”

The innovative and non-disruptive digital platform equips sales associates with a powerful app suite that seamlessly integrates a dealer’s marketing efforts and sales staff’s social media strategies to enhance and personalize a prospect’s buying experience.

“Twenty-five years in the auto industry taught me that the sales staff is the most important asset that you have,” explained Brian Chapman, CEO and founder of Build-A-Brand, and dealer principal. “When you equip them with the right digital strategy to connect with in-market buyers along with the technology needed to convert them into sales, your sales staff will build your business, as they build theirs.”

“We are hooked on Build-A-Brand,” said John Luciano, general manager of Street Volkswagen. “The salesperson buy-in has been like no other sales tool we have tried. [The platform] builds confidence from the start and differentiates us from others.”

With the addition of Ken Potter to Build-A-Brand’s executive team, the company is positioned to capitalize on the market’s demand as it is made available to dealerships across the country.

Potter has held executive positions at several well-known automotive industry organizations, including general manager of CarMax and VP of CarsDirect.com.

“I understand what salespeople and managers go through on a daily basis to make the car buying experience an enjoyable one,” remarked Potter, president of Build-A-Brand. “We are driven to build technology that helps dealers and front-line sales reps be successful in creating positive engagements with customers and prospects. We are not the next ‘disrupter’ looking to change the auto industry, we integrate into the great processes dealers already have.”

Autosled Announces Multiple Product Upgrades

Improved shipment visibility and transporter payment system among updates affecting retail automotive dealers looking to ship cars and trucks.

Autosled announced that it has released multiple product improvements for its nationwide vehicle transport and logistics platform. As a disruptor in the mobility and digital logistics space with a proven track record of excellence, Autosled is constantly improving upon its existing products and infrastructure.

The most recent product rollouts improve functionality for transporter teams within the Autosled network. Providing additional visibility into the available loads along each driver’s individual route saves time while also providing improved service to dealerships needing to move vehicles faster. In addition, Autosled’s new one-click reassignment function saves both dispatchers and drivers significant time, especially when a change needs to be made while a vehicle is en route. Large transport companies with multiple drivers will greatly benefit from these process improvements. Autosled’s mobile application, iOS version 3.1.1, now includes a popup alert informing the driver if the load requires an enclosed trailer, contains any inoperable vehicles, or necessitates special instructions required by the shipper. This has been especially helpful as Autosled increases its coverage at ports and railyards nationwide. These considerations provide that only drivers who can meet the specifications drive to pick up these vehicles- cutting down on pickup cancellations and wasted time.
