A Call to Our Automotive Champions

With our new program, we will spotlight in our September issue (and online) a select few automotive dealerships and companies throughout the industry that stand out among the rest.

Last year, our team at AutoSuccess started two programs that highlighted outstanding people in the automotive field. The first was our Women at the Wheel awards, where we showcased females making great strides in a male-dominated field. Hopefully you saw the 2022 awards that were in our June issue. You can also find them on our website.

Next, in the November issue, was our Veterans & Vehicles awards, where we honored those who have served in the U.S. military and are now serving in the automotive industry. We’ll continue that rewarding program again this year as well. (Nominations are open now.)

I mention these programs because we have started another new program called Champions of Charity.

I have always been amazed by the incredible people in this industry who are so generous with their time, their dollars and their talent and give back to those in need — from sponsoring sports teams to donating cars to single-parent families or for charity events to hefty donations to universities or organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

With our new program, we will spotlight in our September issue (and online) a select few automotive dealerships and companies throughout the industry that stand out among the rest.

The AutoSuccess Champions of Charity program has been created to highlight today’s top automotive companies — from manufacturers to dealerships to vendors — that are making a difference in their communities, businesses and beyond with their charitable acts and donations.

Does your company go above and beyond to help others and make a positive impact? Nominate it at www.autosuccessonline.com/champions-of-charity. It’s a simple form and shouldn’t take long to fill out.

We’d like to send a shout out and thank our friends at Velocity Automotive for sponsoring this year’s program. We couldn’t do what we do without the help and support from companies like Velocity Automotive and our many loyal marketing partners. So, we are very grateful as well.

So, submit your nomination and then look to our September 2022 edition of AutoSuccess, on autosuccessonline.com and our social media accounts, where we will highlight our inaugural Champions of Charity honorees. You won’t want to miss it!

Is Bad Marketing Steering Your Ship?

You’ve made cuts in Q1. You’ve thinned out your marketing — and maybe even your staff — as the market has returned to a pre-COVID competitive landscape and with new challenges. Have you reinvested those cuts into marketing that’s going to make you a winner in 2024? Or are you planning to limp your way through 2024 in fear of a pullback that clearly hasn’t come to fruition?
