WebBuy Technology at Work With Chicago Automobile Trade Association and DriveChicago for Trade-In Quotes

With WebBuy’s dealer-centric app, customers looking to buy or lease a new or used vehicle from a dealer’s website can select the vehicle they want, receive a trade-in offer, and finance, lease or pay cash.

Billings, MT – WebBuy is bringing its innovative CarValuator technology to the Chicago Automobile Trade Association and their DriveChicago website and its online trade-in tool at DriveChicago.com.

WebBuy, created by dealers for dealers, provides a fully integrated web application that allows visitors to go to a dealership website to complete the trade-in process using CarValuator and purchase a vehicle, all done completely online.

With WebBuy’s dealer-centric app, customers looking to buy or lease a new or used vehicle from a dealer’s website can select the vehicle they want, receive a trade-in offer, and finance, lease or pay cash. They can also add a co-buyer, choose rebates and complete the deal without ever stepping foot in a dealership. They can also start the process online at home and complete the process at the dealership.

CarValuator is now the engine behind trade-in leads on DriveChicago.com. According to DriveChicago, dealers can better trust the value of those leads and turn those leads into car-buying customers.

WebBuy’s CarValuator technology uses the owner’s VIN number to ensure year, make, model and trim match. It also provides the dealer with detailed information about condition, including photos, and aftermarket modifications.

DriveChicago.com is a popular online resource for car shoppers in Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. It has become the most comprehensive, local source for researching and purchasing new and used cars.

It is owned and operated by the Chicago Automobile Trade Association and lists more than 100,000 new and used vehicles — Chicagoland’s largest local inventory listing. DriveChicago.com lists the new and used vehicle inventories of over 500 local dealerships.

“We’ve always been impressed with the Chicago Automobile Trade Association and DriveChicago, and we’re humbled to partner with the association and its hundreds of dealer members,” said Tom Murray, WebBuy and CarValuator’s CEO and co-founder. “We’re confident that this partnership will yield tremendous benefits for CATA dealer members and their customers.”

DriveChicago said that CarValuator replaces a trade-in calculator that didn’t verify the vehicle by VIN, often causing confusion when dealers reached out to potential customers via the DriveChicago.com trade-in leads. CarValuator ensures that both the dealer and car buyer will be happy with the vehicle’s valuation and the trade-in process.

“The addition of CarValuator gives DriveChicago.com a robust and precise used-vehicle evaluation tool,” said Mark Bilek, DriveChicago.com general manager. “The unique neutrality of DriveChicago.com allows it work to provide leads to all CATA dealers fairly, and this trade-in tool ensures that those leads will be of high value moving forward.”

DriveChicago.com is a free service to all CATA members, works to cultivate new- and used-vehicle shoppers, guide them through the selection process, and pass them to CATA member dealers. DriveChicago said that so far in 2019, DriveChicago.com has had more than 750,000 visitors and delivered more than 10,000 customers to CATA member dealers.
