A Compressor for a Cure is Back for 2023

Kaeser’s special edition pink AIRTOWER 5C will be auctioned off in October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Kaeser Compressors, Inc. has announced that the company has brought back its “Compressor for a Cure” in 2023.

The auction for a pink AIRTOWER 5c will begin on National Mammography Day, Oct. 20 and conclude on Oct. 30.

The popular AIRTOWER is a complete compressed air system with a Sigma rotary screw compressor, refrigerated air dryer, and drain — all compactly mounted with a receiver tank.

The AIRTOWER 5C is a 5 hp unit providing up to 21 cfm and available in pressures from 125-217 psig.

It is useful for a wide variety of applications and the Kaeser Compressor for a Cure campaign will be a great way to purchase a fully operational compressed air system and fund breast cancer research at the same time, the company said.

Last year the Kaeser pink M59PE raised over $20,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Kaeser will again donate 100% of proceeds from its equipment auction to help fund critically needed research efforts.

According to the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA)’s latest findings, the technician shortage has reached critical levels, with an anticipated shortfall of 80,000 technicians by year’s end. The association reports that three technicians will exit the workforce for every new technician who enters. Ouch. 

It’s a rare dealer who hasn’t been affected by the technician shortage. And the deficiency disrupts not just the service department but the entire dealership. Extended wait times for service appointments frustrate customers and can lead to a decline in satisfaction levels. Compromised service quality due to understaffed service departments can damage customer trust and loyalty, ultimately impacting dealership profitability.
