We Are Charged Up for NADA 2022!

We're excited to get on the show floor to see old friends and meet new ones.

When the AutoSuccess staff was preparing the February issue, you could feel an increased level of excitement in our team meetings. Our NADA issue is always one of the highlight issues of the year for us, knowing more eyes are on this issue than possibly any other — and after not having an in-person event last year, this one took on new meaning.

To start, this issue provides a special NADA show map (see pages 6 and 7), which points out our AutoSuccess Best of the Best NADA 2022. Our Best of the Best companies are the ones we’ve found that go the extra mile to help dealers grow their business. This map will take you straight to these vendors — you won’t want to miss checking out all they have to offer.

Additionally, we ship hundreds of extra issues to the show so that our writers and marketing partners get an extra boost of eyeballs on their articles and advertisements.

Not only am I excited about this issue, I’m also excited to get on the show floor to see old friends and meet new ones. I’m looking forward to catching up with long-time industry pals such as Sean Wolfington, Dale Pollak and Mark Boyd, just to name a few.

While we’re at the Expo, I’m hoping to catch a glimpse of Michael Strahan or Dana Perino, two of this year’s keynote speakers. And the lineup of the Distinguished Speakers series is top-notch. They’ve got a race car driver, the first woman Thunderbird pilot, a cybersecurity strategist, a professional skydiver and the NFL’s first female official.

Keeping in mind the latest issues facing dealers, there will be a bright spotlight on electric. The show has the resources to get your dealership charged for this new opportunity, including new EV Solutions Center at Booth #6557N where subject matter experts will answer dealers’ questions on how to successfully transition into the EV marketplace, and get everyone energized about this new opportunity. There will also be a Super Session, as well as workshops for winning in the EV market. Then you can stroll down Electric Avenue, located on skybridge between North LVCC and West LVCC, for a look at the history and future of electric vehicles, and to learn about dealer success stories.

Finally, because it is Las Vegas, the nightlife is a huge draw. The evening industry events are always outstanding. From concerts to cocktail parties, NADA exhibitors know how to throw a party — Hunter Swift and April Rain, save a night out for me!

If you couldn’t make it or have picked up this copy afterward, be sure to check our website, newsletters and social media for NADA news and highlights. If you’re reading this while taking a break from the show floor, I hope you have an incredibly productive and fun time — welcome back to the show!

In today’s modern world, it seems at every corner you hear someone chatting about diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I). Unfortunately, real dialogue and progress toward a truly diverse and inclusive culture become watered down with political agendas, feel-good movements and a general perversion of equity’s definition.
