GREENCROWN Energy & Water Drives Energy Savings for Lia Automotive Group

The ability to leverage real-time data to compare energy usage across all dealerships enables Lia to accurately forecast and manage their budget.

GREENCROWN Energy & Water announced the Lia Automotive Group (LIA) realized over $100K in electricity and natural gas savings through its UtilityROI Energy Management solution.

With 22 car dealerships serving Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York, LIA wanted to significantly reduce their carbon footprint and implement a platform that would help centralize and track their energy spend in real-time across their 22 locations. Utilizing GREENCROWN Energy & Water’s UtilityROI platform, LIA was also able to fully streamline their utilities across all dealerships.

“GREENCROWN Energy & Water has been a tremendous asset to our multi-state organization,” said Michael Lia, president, Lia Automotive Group. “They were able to negotiate very attractive power prices for our 22 dealerships and help us meet our sustainability goals, while organizing our portfolio with their UtilityROI platform. The ability to leverage real-time data to compare energy usage across all dealerships enables us to accurately forecast and manage our budget.”

“We sourced competitive electric and natural gas for LIA, which was inclusive of a 100% Green-e Certified Renewable Energy Certificate offset to fully eliminate their carbon footprint,” said Sal Ritorto, executive vice president of GREENCROWN Energy & Water. “Our experience and deep knowledge working within the utilities industries is how we’re able to provide significant cost savings our customers have come to expect.”
