The Automotive Leadership Roundtable and Awards Dinner, the Oscars of the automotive industry, returns to the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel this year March 11-13, 2019. The only event that brings together the brightest minds in automotive to share best practices and recognize the No. 1 performing dealers from each brand will feature appearances by speakers from Google and Apple, among other headliners, a six-star Awards Dinner, and a private performance by Grammy-award winning artist, Siedah Garrett.
ALR is a high-impact, 36-hour event that begins on the evening of March 11 with a welcome reception on the beach at the Fontainebleau Hotel. The next day features a high-level executive roundtable with some of the most innovative leaders in automotive retail and thought leaders from some of the top businesses in the world.
One of the high-powered presenters will be keynote speaker John Couch, Apple’s first vice president of Software. Couch lead all software development at Apple and later brought Apple into the educational sector. Additional speakers include Andrew Diffenderfer, senior automotive retail strategist at Google, Philip Rather, automotive lead at Facebook, David Spisak, founder and CEO of ReverseRisk and former market president of AutoNation. Jamal Mashburn, NBA future hall of famer and owner of 100+ dealerships/hotels/restaurants, will also be presenting, along with Chris Bertish, the first amateur to ever win the Mavericks surf competition and paddle board across the Atlantic, Brian Benstock, VP and partner at Paragon Automotive (the No. 1 Acura/Honda dealer in the world) and Scott Painter, founder of Fair and TrueCar.
“I’ve been to a lot of different events like this, and I don’t think there has been an event that has kept me as engaged as the ALR did,” said Bill Underriner, a chairman of NADA and owner of Underriner Motors. “I was glued to my seat and took close to 25 pages of notes. The Automotive Leadership Roundtable is one of the best industry events I’ve ever attended.”
ALR events are by invitation-only due to the limited space available at the venue. Registration for the event is $5,000 and includes VIP access to all events, speakers, cocktail receptions and fine dining. Sponsorships for the event are still available and can be found here.
