Impel Selected by Hyundai North America to Provide Digital Merchandising Capabilities for All Dealers

Impel announced that it has been named a certified partner for Hyundai Motor America’s Vehicle Merchandising Video Program.

Partnership provides Hyundai retailers with direct access to industry-leading automotive digital merchandising platform

Impel, the global leader in digital engagement and merchandising software, announced that it has been named a certified partner for Hyundai Motor America’s Vehicle Merchandising Video Program. Dealers participating in Hyundai’s certified program will now have direct access to Impel’s comprehensive suite of products, enabling them to fully digitize the showroom experience. Impel products available through the program include 360º WalkArounds, Feature Tour, Video Tour, Automated Background Removal, and Damage Tagging. All 830 Hyundai auto retailers in the United States are eligible to enroll in the program.

Impel’s digital engagement platform enables dealers to deliver personalized, interactive customer experiences at every digital and physical touchpoint, including third-party online marketplaces. By adding 360-degree virtual walkarounds, VIN-specific multimedia feature showcases, fully narrated vehicle highlight videos, automated background editing, and vehicle condition reporting to their vehicle detail pages (VDPs), auto retailers can recreate the in-person dealership experience for online shoppers. Immersive and personalized digital merchandising generates greater levels of engagement, transparency and confidence for shoppers browsing new, CPO or used vehicle inventory on a dealership’s website.

The Hyundai Vehicle Merchandising Video Program enables dealers to increase sales and profitability by providing access to advanced digital solutions and services from a variety of industry-leading digital partners. To achieve certification, software and service providers must successfully pass a rigorous evaluation by Hyundai Motor America.

“Consumer behaviors have changed dramatically and the pace of digital disruption in our industry shows no signs of slowing. Prospective buyers have come to expect always-on access to personalized and interactive experiences,” said Devin Daly, Impel Co-Founder and CEO. “Enhanced digital engagement, powered by shopper behavioral data, has become a critical capability for dealer success — and Hyundai and Impel share a passion for delivering customer delight at every customer touchpoint. We’re thrilled to be bringing advanced digital merchandising capabilities to even more Hyundai dealers nationwide. This OEM certification further establishes our leadership in providing innovative digital engagement technology to the automotive industry.”
