PartsEdge Launches Virtual Training Series

In addition to the virtual course, participants will also receive daily, weekly and monthly checklists for success.

PartsEdge, the industry’s leading parts sourcing and management software provider, launched a seven-part virtual training series for Parts Managers, with experts Chuck Hartle and Kaylee Felio.

The seven week course titled, “Cutting Edge Inventory Control, Pricing & Management Strategies,” will cover everything from sourcing to handling lost sales to ideal pricing policies and will detail how leading parts departments are pivoting their operations and strategies to better respond to new vulnerabilities.

“Parts Managers and departments have gone through rapid changes within the last several years from parts shortages to changing pricing dynamics to customer experience expectations. This virtual series will serve as a roadmap to help Parts Managers meet these obstacles head-on this next year and better prepare their departments to succeed,” said PartsEdge CEO, Hartle.

Some of the topics covered in the series will include:

  • Inventory Management and Planning Tools – Discover best practices to improve inventory control and profitability.
  • Auditing Your Process Fill Rates and Lost Sales – Learn common mistakes and simple solutions.
  • Sourcing and Control – Demystify sources and develop phase-in criteria that suits individual demand.
  • Ideal Pricing Formulas – Dive deep into gross profit generation, the impact of Menu/Grid pricing, fine-tune your Matrix escalators and find what fits best for your organization.
  • Wholesale Business – Learn proper categorization for wholesale clients and tricks for sustainable and profitable wholesale sales.

In addition to the virtual course, participants will also receive daily, weekly and monthly checklists for success, as well as participation in an online Parts Manager forum.
