CarNow, UNConference Partners Donate to Make-A-Wish

The donation was raised at the UNConference, an automotive leadership conference for dealerships and technology partners hosted at CarNow’s headquarters in Atlanta.

CarNow announced in a recent press release it has partnered with multiple service providers and dealer partners to donate $76,100 to The Make-A-Wish Foundation. The donation was raised in March at the second annual UNConference, an automotive leadership conference for dealerships and technology partners hosted at CarNow’s headquarters in Atlanta.

“We are truly grateful for the incredible generosity shown by the team at CarNow and their partners with the Modern Day Car Sales group,” said Justice French, director of development for The Make-a-Wish Foundation. “Prior to the event, CarNow had already demonstrated their commitment to making a difference by donating funds to grant a wish for a child to visit Disney World with his parents. CarNow and its industry partners are special companies that live their values and beliefs. Their contributions will go a long way in helping us fulfill the wishes of children with critical illnesses and bring joy to their lives.”

The Make-a-Wish Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1980 that helps fulfill the wishes of children with critical illness between the ages of 2+1/2 and 18 years old. With a global network of 39 international affiliates, the charity operates in 50 countries worldwide, spreading hope, joy and positivity to young lives in need.

The UNConference is an event that brings together a group of business vendors and auto dealer clients in partnership with CarNow, for an annual gathering of collaborative discussion on best practices. With this year’s conference drawing a turnout of nearly 50 auto dealers and a dozen sponsor partners, the event continues to serve as a leading conference for industry leaders to share insights, exchange ideas and develop valuable relationships.

“The UNConference is a unique gathering of auto industry professionals who engage in open and honest dialogue to address common challenges,” said Tim Cox, co-founder of CarNow. “It is a place where attendees can freely discuss and collaborate on solutions, without the pressure of sales pitches. When not at the event, these individuals often compete with each other in business, but share a common belief in the importance of supporting their communities. At CarNow, we view this as an essential duty for our business and are proud to sponsor such a dynamic and impactful event.”

“When marketplace meets the heart of people who are willing to not be ashamed of who they are, then you unlock something that allows your organization to be better served because you are doing it with the right intention and for the right purpose,” said Hugh Palmer, sales manager at Beaver Toyota. “Money is not always the right thing, but if you do things the right way, the money will come, and you will become recession proof.”

CarNow stated it is proud to have participated in a donation that will make a significant impact on so many lives and looks forward to continuing to support similar causes in the future.
