Ricart Automotive Wins Prestigious Ford Award for Second Time

On June 26, Ford’s top executives, including Vice President Mark LaNeve met at Ricart, the No. 1 ranked used car dealer by volume globally located in Columbus, OH, to present this prestigious award on stage in front of Ricart’s more than 500 employees as a direct result of their outstanding customer satisfaction.

Each year, fewer than 1% of Ford dealerships nationwide receive the automobile manufacturer’s highest honor, the Triple Crown Award. This year, Ricart Automotive has received it for the second time.

To be recognized with the highly sought after Triple Crown Award, dealerships must receive all of Ford’s top awards, which include: the President’s Award for customer service; be selected for the Ford One Hundred Club based on vehicle sales; and make the Ford Customer Service Premiere Club.

“We are honored to win Ford’s Triple Crown Award for the second time in the past three years,” Rick Ricart, president, Ricart Automotive said. “There’s no coincidence that we won both this award and a Central Ohio Best Places to Work Award in the same year. These happen side by side because of the dedication, service and skill of our employees. To win the Triple Crown Award is no easy task so we are thankful for our employees who made it happen.”

Rick Ricart is the president and director of sales and marketing of Ricart Automotive Group. Ricart Ford was founded in July 1953 by his grandfather, Paul Ricart Sr. It was his grandfather’s philosophy that to lead, you must first work alongside the employees. Rick started out as a lot attendant and by 2005 had worked in eight different positions with the various brands. In 2011, having touched every aspect of the business, Rick assumed all sales and marketing operations at the dealership, experiencing significant and sustainable growth every year thereafter. He was recently appointed president of the company.
