Federated, Ken Schrader Continue Longtime Partnership

2020 Also Marks Schrader’s 50th Year in Racing

For 21 years in a row, Federated Auto Parts will partner with Ken Schrader and his Ken Schrader Racing (KSR) teams. The sponsorship will include the popular “Get Dirty with Kenny” racing experience for Federated members and their customers throughout North America.

“There is no better ambassador for Federated Auto Parts and Federated Car Care than Kenny Schrader. We are honored to continue our partnership with him and the KSR teams again this year,” said J.R. Bishop, motorsports and event marketing director for Federated Auto Parts. “Kenny has a tremendous relationship with our membership and has made great connections with their employees, customers and vendor partners.”

The 2020 race season marks Schrader’s 50th year as a race car driver. One of the most popular drivers in NASCAR history, Schrader ranks 11th in career NASCAR Cup series starts. Throughout his career, he has also driven in the NASCAR Truck, Xfinity and ARCA series. Today, Schrader drives a full schedule of dirt track races and has raced in 48 states and throughout Canada.

“I want to thank Federated for their support and partnership for the last two decades. It is a true privilege to be associated with them,” said Schrader. “What started out as a business partnership 20 years ago has turned into many wonderful friendships with Federated executives, members and customers.”

Last year, more than 1,000 Federated customers participated in over 50 “Get Dirty with Kenny” events at dirt tracks in 22 states and Canada. In addition to continuing these popular dirt track racing events, Federated will also be the primary sponsor of Schrader’s dirt track teams and an associate sponsor of the KSR ARCA teams.

“Federated members use the ‘Get Dirty with Kenny’ experiences as a great way to help grow their businesses. They also conduct hospitality events at the tracks when Kenny is racing,” said Bishop. “Our association with Kenny allows our members to conduct business in a relaxed and fun atmosphere and Kenny does a tremendous job making everyone feel like they are part of the racing action.”
