Founded in 1975, CCI is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships for adults, children, veterans and professionals.

“Finding ways to assist others is a hallmark of the automotive industry,” Annette Sykora, chairman of the NADA Foundation, said at last year’s auction. That is why the Canine Companion cause of partnering trained service animals with persons who need assistance has always been dear to NADA. A dog may be a man’s best friend, but for wounded veterans and children suffering from disabilities, a highly trained service dog can mean having support, security and a measure of independence.
