Solera|AutoPoint Announces Automated Certified Pre-Owned Inspection Solution

The OEM compliancy checklists will help to ensure dealerships are able to guarantee OEM compliancy when they certify pre-owned vehicles.

Solera|AutoPoint announced the release of its new Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) solution for pre-owned vehicle valuation and inspection.

OEM compliancy checklists and inspection automation headline as the two major components of the solution. The OEM compliancy checklists will help to ensure dealerships are able to guarantee OEM compliancy when they certify pre-owned vehicles. These checklists are conveniently built into the CPO solution and sourced directly from the OEMs themselves.

Solera|AutoPoint’s CPO solution is currently the only market product automating pre-owned certification, the company said. Based on six-sigma methodology, inspections are standardized and automated to reduce cycle time and paper processing up to eight hours per month. Relying on data to drive inspections ensures accuracy and quality metrics that dealerships can track. Pre-Owned Manager provides additional visibility across a dealership’s entire lot with automatic status updates to help dealers keep an eye on every vehicle.

“We’re excited to offer this valuable CPO certification solution. It’s something dealerships have been needing for years and will absolutely be a game-changer,” said Tim Hardin, SVP and general manager of AutoPoint. “The OEM checklists provide unequivocal accuracy to the certification process. Dealers can achieve a 110-percent increase in output per technician on what has historically been a time-consuming and paper-heavy task.”
