Maroone USA, in partnership with Serra Automotive, has completed the acquisition of Longmont Ford in Longmont, CO. The Ford franchise joins an existing portfolio of five dealerships.

“We are very pleased to add Longmont Ford to our family of dealerships,” Mike Maroone, CEO of Maroone USA, said. “The addition of Ford to our offerings with an organization of this caliber was a great opportunity.”

The dealership was purchased from owners Mike Peebles and Pat “PJ” Grooms. Grooms, who has served as general manager of the dealership for the past three years, is an equity partner in the new ownership group and has been named president and operating partner of Longmont Ford. He brings nearly three decades of auto retail leadership to the role.

“Mike Peebles and PJ Grooms are terrific retailers with a track record of success built on high-performing associates delivering outstanding customer service,” Maroone said. “Merging with their organization was a great fit for us.”

The dedicated team at Longmont Ford will continue to delight guests from Longmont, Denver, Boulder, Niwot, Loveland, Greely, Erie and the surrounding areas.

Maroone USA is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The group is currently comprised of six automotive franchises in two states: Mike Maroone Chevrolet South, Mike Maroone Chevrolet North, Mike Maroone Honda and Mike Maroone Volkswagen in Colorado Springs (in partnership with Serra Automotive); Roger Dean Chevrolet in West Palm Beach, FL (in partnership with Patty Dean); and Longmont Ford in Longmont (in partnership with Serra Automotive and PJ Grooms).
