What is one of your proudest accomplishments of your career?
One of my proudest accomplishments in my career is being recruited to Microsoft, where I have had the opportunity to bring my expertise and experience from the automotive industry to a brand-new product. This has allowed me to unleash my innovative spirit and push boundaries in ways that haven’t been seen before. The empowerment I have received at Microsoft has enabled me to go above and beyond, creating solutions that are truly groundbreaking. Not only am I proud of the impact I have made in my field, but I also take great pride in being an example for my children and others. By persistently pursuing my goals and working hard to achieve them, I hope to inspire others to do the same.
What is your best advice to other women who want to excel in the automotive industry?
To all the women aspiring to excel in the automotive industry, my best advice is to refuse to let anyone, including yourself, limit your growth potential. Don’t allow self-doubt or societal expectations to hinder your progress. Instead, seek out mentors who can recognize your unique skills and value. Surround yourself with individuals who will champion your ambitions and provide guidance along the way. Remember that success is not achieved in isolation; it often requires a network of support. Embrace opportunities for collaboration and learning from others, both within and outside your industry. Be open to taking risks and stepping outside of your comfort zone, as these are often the catalysts for personal and professional growth. Most importantly, never underestimate your abilities or the impact you can have. Believe in yourself and your capabilities, and let that belief propel you toward greatness in the automotive industry and beyond.
