Chase: Chase has a culture of service and a commitment to being engaged citizens. Access to transportation can be a game-changer for individuals and organizations, and we’re proud to participate in a program that gives a vehicle and supporting funds to those making meaningful impact. This aligns with our efforts to help to uplift the communities in which we live and work.
JLR: Nonprofit organizations are vital in making a difference where it matters most, in their communities through countless acts of service. For decades, Defender models have been known worldwide for enabling service workers to reach the most remote places across the globe in efforts of helping others.
Inspired by the countless acts of selflessness throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2021 the Defender Service Awards were launched, to honor and recognize everyday heroes striving to do good in their local communities. Seven charities were awarded Defender 110 models to aid in their missions of service.
For 2022, the Defender Service Awards expanded its scope to further support non-profits. Canadian non-profits were included, and partner organizations including a Presenting Partner, Chase and with 5 category sponsors contributed financial awards to the finalists and winners. A total of $300,000 and five Defender 130 models were awarded to worthy non-profits.
