What is one of your proudest accomplishments of your career?
I work in product, which means I’m obsessed with solving customers’ problems using technology. It’s difficult to measure the “biggest” accomplishment of my career. Is that how fast you scale? Is it commercial value? Is it determined by the failed attempts, learnings and personal growth before success is actualized? I’ve been fortunate to experience many instances of accomplishments by defining them that way. What I’m working on right now (in the progress of doing) may end up being something I’m most proud of, and that is working through scaling omni-channel financing solutions for automotive marketplaces.
What is your best advice to other women who want to excel in the automotive industry?
With anything in life that feels like an unknown, embrace it with curiosity. The automotive tech sector shares a lot of similarities and challenges that are met across the eCommerce landscape. Be confident. Take risks. Evaluate your strengths and really lean into them. Evaluate your weaknesses and open the door to opportunities where you can grow. There are many mentorship and leadership programs that present opportunities for professional development. We are all on a journey working toward something.
