Motormindz, NuVinAir Join Forces To Deliver Sanitization Solution

motormindz will assist the expansion of NuVinAir’s ‘Total Health’ suite of products that are currently being utilized in more than 500 auto dealerships across the U.S.

motormindz, a global venture consultancy, announced a strategic partnership with NuVinAir Global, which offers proprietary vehicle-cleanliness solutions and hygienic consulting for automotive businesses across the United States.

“COVID revealed a critical need for highly scalable and effective, yet safe, disinfectants – developed specifically for automotive,” said Jeff Van Dongen, CEO of motormindz, who spent 22 years developing technologies for the automotive industry before founding the company in 2014 with Ray Fisher, a 33-year Chrysler veteran. “NuVinAir’s ‘Total Health’ solution enables us to solve a key consumer concern with a truly unique product, and in ways that its competitors simply can’t. As part of our extensive assessment process, we looked at eight leading-edge solutions, with NuVinAir clearly rising to the top.”

motormindz brings together a network of more than 80 automotive and technology executive subject-matter experts focused on delivering transformative solutions and technologies across the automotive ecosystem. In partnership, motormindz will assist the industry expansion of NuVinAir’s ‘Total Health’ suite of products that are currently being utilized in more than 500 auto dealerships across the United States, as well as supporting the needs of the rental-car and fleet markets.

“There are many claims being made in this space, and OEs and dealers, alike, need to be aware of what’s important – and what isn’t – in selecting the right solution for their specific application,” added Don Johnson, a 30+ year veteran of General Motors. “Our stakeholders require an easy, autonomous application, as well as an inexpensive, comprehensive, and patented materials-sciences technology that won’t harm vehicles’ surfaces, and NuVinAir was the clear choice.”

With consumer interest in top-quality, safe, and effective disinfection methods continuing to rise, OEs and dealers are seeking affordable, scalable and profitable ways of addressing this must-have need.

“Every day, I speak with OEs, dealerships and suppliers about their unique needs, and yet there is a common thread: They all want no-touch, automotive-specific cleaning solutions that work quickly and effectively on all areas and surfaces of the vehicle, and that’s exactly what NuVinAir is bringing to the industry,” said NuVinAir Chief Operating Officer Troy Blackwell, who previously served in key leadership roles for AutoNation and CarMax.

Blackwell joined NuVinAir in August 2019 after spearheading a major AutoNation brand extension and launching a chain of stand-alone used-car dealerships called AutoNation USA. Under his leadership, NuVinAir recently launched its latest product — ReKlenz-X — an EPA-approved, eco-friendly disinfectant cleaner. “Marrying NuVinAir’s expertise in patented technology and treatments with motormindz’ operational experience and discerning selection process yields a fantastic opportunity to bring our unique ‘Total Health’ offering to an entire industry, while helping OEs and dealers protect their millions of consumers; it’s a win-win for everyone.”
