Holman’s Chair of the Board was honored alongside General Motors’ Chair & Chief Executive Officer Mary Barra and racing legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. during the 16th annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance
Holman, a global automotive services organization, recently announced that Mindy Holman received the Automotive Dealer Lifetime Achievement award during the 16th annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance, the premier celebration of automotive history. Each year, the event’s chairs honor a collection of leaders from across the industry for their commitment and outstanding contributions to the automotive world and automotive business endeavors.
On Saturday, February 25, Mindy Holman, Holman’s chair of the board, accepted her award during a ceremony that also honored industry icons Mary Barra, who received the Automotive Manufacturing Lifetime Achievement award, and Dale Earnhardt Jr., who received the Automotive Racing Lifetime Achievement award.
“It’s difficult to express how honored I am to be recognized alongside two legends of our industry,” said Mindy Holman. “While I’m humbled to receive this award, it is certainly a testament to the legacy of my grandfather and father who established the foundation upon which our remarkable organization is built. I’d also like to express my gratitude to my extended Holman family of employees. It’s your efforts and unwavering commitment to our values and principles that continue to drive what’s right every day for our organization, our customers and our communities.”
The renowned Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance features an exciting weekend of festivities, celebrities and legendary automobiles. The three-day event culminates with one of the world’s most prestigious displays of 200-plus collector cars and motorcycles, including several one-of-a-kind masterpieces such as the 1937 Cord 812 Phaeton Convertible once owned by Amelia Earhart.
“On behalf of our entire organization, I’d like to congratulate Mindy on this well-deserved honor. We could not be prouder of all that she’s accomplished throughout her illustrious career,” said Carl Ortell, CEO, Holman. “Whether she’s going above and beyond for a customer, volunteering her time with a charitable organization, or simply supporting a friend or colleague, Mindy truly embodies the spirit of the Holman Way. She is the essence of driving what’s right and continues to be the guiding light that inspires our entire organization on a daily basis.”
The Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance is the fastest growing Concours in the nation and the world’s largest Concours owned by a charity, fully benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward Country, which serves thousands of at-risk youth each year. The annual event has raised more than $10 million for the charity during its 16-year history.
