GMB Publishes Water Pump Quick Guide

The Water Pump Quick Guide graphic illustrates everything from how water pumps work to calling out common problems.

DIYers, installers and service advisers can see the ins-and-outs of water pumps in one free graphic

GMB, a global manufacturer and supplier of OE and aftermarket automotive products, published a new Water Pump Quick Guide graphic to illustrate everything from how water pumps work to calling out common problems.

The infographic can be found, downloaded or shared from the GMB website here.

“We know it’s a lot of water pump information to cram into one graphic,” says Sarah Porter, marketing manager at GMB. “The graphic is a synthesis of a popular white paper we produced in mid-2019 as an extension of our commitment to make GMB water pumps high quality and safe. The goal of the new graphic is to provide a snapshot for DIYers as well as experienced installers when working with water pumps.”

Here are some of the highlights from the Water Pump Quick Guide:

  • Diagrams to identify parts of the water pump and directional coolant flow
  • Step-by-step instructions for GMB water pump installation plus precautions to take when replacing a water pump
  • A look at some of the causes for leakage, noises and overheating
