CarNow: Private Donor Scholarships

CarNow Provides Northwood Students with Private Donor Scholarships

Donors like CarNow make a difference in the lives of our students every day. Northwood University recently hosted the 26th anniversary of the Private Donor Scholarship luncheon, where students were able to meet their benefactors and personally thank them for their generous donations toward their educational futures.

Northwood University students rely on various forms of financial aid to help support their educational experience. In particular, many students are able to attend Northwood University thanks to scholarships gifted by generous private donors. One such Private Donor Scholarship will now be provided by CarNow, a market leader in the retail automotive industry.

“CarNow is thrilled to support Northwood’s ‘CarNow Innovative Retail Scholarship.’ We are confident that our future talent will come from schools like Northwood, which we feel is best in class in producing talented automotive leaders,” said Aaron Baldwin, senior vice president of product & business development at CarNow.

Northwood University recently hosted the 26th anniversary of the Private Donor Scholarship luncheon, where students were able to meet their benefactors and personally thank them for their generous donations toward their educational futures. Students were given the opportunity to network, connect and build professional relationships with their donors, giving them a path to reach out to the current job market.

“We congratulate Will Govan on his efforts, poise and professionalism in earning the CarNow Innovative Retail Scholarship. We hope our commitment will make a difference in his pursuit of lifelong learning,” added Baldwin.

Students who do not have to worry about paying for college have the ability to focus heavily on their academics and increase their extracurricular involvement. On-campus activities offer students practical, experiential learning toward their degree as well as networking opportunities to connect with fellow students, professors and alumni. These scholarships confirm students’ belief that they are on the right career path at the right institution.
