CareGard Warranty Services Celebrates 25 Years

CareGard Warranty Services Celebrates 25 Years, Announces Team Promotions

In addition to the sales, F&I and service drive training, and compliance management, the company is enhancing their training offerings to include automotive personnel recruiting, hiring, training and proven processes that will maximize income and sales opportunities for CWS clients.

CareGard Warranty Services (CWS)/AFG Companies, Inc, a full-service, F&I products and service provider based out of Grapevine, TX, announces the company is celebrating their 25th anniversary this month.

“We’re proud to celebrate 25 years of business and fortunate to have a great team with an average tenure of 15 years,” said Wright Brewer, CEO, president and founder of CWS. “We’re also grateful for every relationship and the trust our customers continue to place in us. Agents and dealers have a lot of options these days and it’s not something we take for granted.”

As a continuance to the company’s commitment to support the needs and overall growth of its agents, dealers and OEM partners, CareGard Warranty Services will be designing and building a third office building at its home campus in Grapevine. This additional space will not only allow the staff to deliver on its mission to provide “best-in-class” support and service, but it will house their expanding claims, technology and administrative team.

With a renewed focus toward income development, the company said they will be “stepping up our game” and adding new resources in the spirit of providing value-added support for their agents.

In addition to the sales, F&I and service drive training, and compliance management, the company will be enhancing their training offerings to include automotive personnel recruiting, hiring, training and proven processes that will maximize income and sales opportunities for CWS clients.

“In today’s market, it takes all areas and support to be competitive in the automotive space,” Brewer continued. “It’s no longer good enough just to provide the best products and services. Dealers and our clients need more, and CareGard will put more of an emphasis on income development. That’s how we started, and not only will that continue, we are more determined and focused than ever to help serve our agents and their dealers in the area of true ‘income development’ that most companies are unable to provide.”

A few steps CareGard has recently taken to prove their commitment to growth and renewed focus toward income development include the following additions and promotions to the CWS team:

  • Keith Cooper, with over 32 years in the F&I business, has joined the CGW team as senior vice president of client services and income development. Cooper had served in senior management positions with RoadVantage, IAS, GSFS Group and EFG Companies. Brewer met Cooper 32 years ago when he helped recruit and train Cooper in F&I.
  • Denise Taylor has been in automotive industry with over 20 years’ experience.  She comes to CareGard as project manager. “With our growth and all the opportunities coming our way, Denise is wonderful,” Brewer said. “She navigates 10-15 special projects at a time without missing a beat.”
  • Bryan Myers has been promoted to the role of senior vice president of sales. With more than 20 years in the F&I space and over 12 years at CareGard, Myers will continue to expand the company’s footprint with new and existing agent and dealer partners. He will also continue his focus on training and income development and using the company’s proprietary technology to supplement its world-class products and services.
  • John Zwart has been promoted to vice president of administration. Zwart brings more than 20 years of experience in the F&I space, and more than 11 years at CareGard. His success in the sales and marketing area will translate to higher performance around sales administration. “John’s personality and attention to detail will serve him and our company to new heights. He started his career in the administrative side of our industry and he returns with a complete understanding in all areas of the business,” Brewer said.
