AutoMotion’s Digital Retailing Platform Goes Beyond the Desktop

The AutoMotion suite of apps now features millions of app-based car buyers and connects in-market shoppers with participating dealers to help facilitate the transaction.

AutoMotion, mobile digital retailing technology provider for automotive dealers, announced a growth milestone for its digital retailing platform. The AutoMotion Get a Car Experience is now placing thousands of active shoppers each month with partner dealers across the U.S. More than 3,500 partner dealers use the AutoMotion platform to provide online buying options for app-based customers, the company said.

“The growth has been substantial over the last six months,” CEO Ben Anderson said. “We’re excited to share these results with our partner dealers who share our vision of the importance of mobile in today’s buying process.”

The AutoMotion suite of apps now features millions of app-based car buyers and connects in-market shoppers with participating dealers to help facilitate the transaction.

The AutoMotion Digital Retailing solution goes beyond traditional marketing tools that plug into a dealer’s website. AutoMotion starts with discovery and vehicle selection online, but extends the relationship with the Get a Car Experience, ensuring the customer arrives at the dealership. Once the customer is ready for salesperson assistance, AutoMotion arranges the physical meeting spot and delivers the customer application and preferences directly to the dealership.

“Traditional digital retailing tools fail to extend beyond the desktop,” stated Anderson. “AutoMotion curates the entire process, ensuring interested customers arrive at the dealership, facilitating a higher percentage transition to transaction.”
