AFIP, Product Prep Partner to Bring Compliance Training, Certification Online

Through virtual and live education and training, participants are able to meet all automotive compliance regulations, including state and federal compliance training requirements and obtain AFIP Certification.

The Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals (AFIP) announces it has been selected by Product Prep, a leading online interactive learning and training development solution, to deliver full state and federal compliance training for dealership staff online.

Called “Compliance Prep Powered by AFIP,” the new program on the Product Prep platform will help ensure franchised and independent dealership professionals stay up-to-date and compliant on all F&I aspects of dealership operations.

“Dealers are faced with many new changes and forced adaptations with remote teams and buyers both shopping for and buying vehicles online; ensuring F&I compliance shouldn’t be one of their challenges,” said Todd Rothman, president of Product Prep.

“AFIP is the authoritative resource for dealership F&I compliance training and certification, and we are proud to bring their expertise and program to our e-training platform. AFIP’s team of experts and commitment to academic standards are unparalleled,” Rothman continued.

The AFIP Compliance Prep program unites interactive learning with state-of-the-art compliance training for automotive personnel including dealers, general agents, administrators, vendors and OEMs. Through virtual and live education and training, participants are able to meet all automotive compliance regulations, including state and federal compliance training requirements and obtain AFIP Certification. Personalized education is offered through live compliance coaching and Q&A sessions with AFIP experts.

Shannon Robertson, AFIP’s senior vice president, said, “We’ve passed on partnering offers in the past for those looking for a watered-down version of our certification curricula. The deciding factor with Product Prep was their insistence that we maintain the same high standards employed over the years while certifying their dealer clients and field operatives. AFIP’s strict adherence to regulatory compliance training coupled with Product Prep’s innovative education technology will help ensure dealers don’t miss a beat in these unprecedented times.”

Beginning June 1, 2020, “Compliance Prep Powered by AFIP” will be available for enrollment in a monthly subscription service.
