ACERTUS Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

ACERTUS has announced the appointment of Ross Rachey as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive the company's growth.

Company strengthens operating model to support future growth

ACERTUS, the omnichannel automotive logistics platform, has announced the appointment of Ross Rachey as its new chief operating officer (COO) to drive the company’s growth and accelerate operational performance. Rachey’s appointment follows the shift in focus of former COO, Jason Caporrino, who will head ACERTUS’ newly formed Mergers and Acquisitions Team dedicated to expanding the company through strategic partnerships and investments.

In his new role, Rachey will serve as the strategic leader of operational excellence and leverage his extensive experience in automotive logistics, electric vehicle (EV) and distributed energy deployment to help ACERTUS navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with the transformation of the automotive industry. As the former leader of Amazon’s Last Mile Fleet, where he scaled fleet logistics and led one of the largest-scale EV and distributed energy infrastructure deployments globally, Rachey is well-suited to take on this challenge.

“ACERTUS is pushing the industry forward when it comes to EV and ICE vehicle logistics by investing in infrastructure, automation, and technology,” said Rachey. “It’s an exciting time in the company’s rich history to be joining the team and I look forward to further scaling operations in this rapidly growing space.”

Trent Broberg, CEO at ACERTUS, said, “Electric vehicles are transforming the automotive industry, but with this transition comes many operational opportunities and challenges. We are thrilled to have Ross bring his extensive fleet, EV and logistics deployment experience to the team to help ACERTUS continue on its growth trajectory during an industry inflection point.”

Rachey holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Washington – Michael G. Foster School of Business (Seattle, WA) and a Juris Doctor degree from Seattle University School of Law (Seattle, WA). He has been recognized for his role in transforming transportation on Insider’s list of 100 People Transforming Business.
