Dominion VUE DMS Offers Full Set of Communications Features That Dramatically Improve Car Owners’ Service Experience

Dominion VUE is completing its beta roll out with a few multi-store groups with a timed roll out to dealers in the U.S. through 2018 and 2019.

Dominion VUE, the new-to-market DMS, offers a suite of built-in communication features that will allow dealers to work more efficiently and in alignment with today’s consumer expectations.

“Dominion VUE is built with years of DMS experience, using modern tools that I believe will result in a very intuitive, easy-to-use interface for our employees. The automotive business is complicated. We need a simple solution.” said Joe Munson, CFO of Hubler Automotive Group.

The first of its kind, Dominion VUE is the only DMS in the industry that features compliant texting capabilities, employee messaging capabilities, mobile pay and exception to policy alerts, all of which are built directly into the DMS. Powered by UpdatePromise’s communication and payment tools, VUE offers dealers and their customers a single user interface to increase usage and satisfaction of both.

  • Dominion VUE’s compliant texting capabilities ensure that dealers never communicate with a customer who has opted out of mobile-based communication. Automatic texting allows service advisors to communicate the status of each vehicle on the go from the advisor’s mobile tablet. By giving advisors the ability to securely text from the DMS, customers can be contacted and informed more quickly, resulting in faster approvals and repairs. Communication history is stored within the customers profile and the RO as you would expect.
  • The mobile pay feature allows customers to conveniently pay for their repairs via their mobile app. This process expedites pick-up either onsite or via concierge-style delivery.
  • With Dominion VUE, dealers have the ability to send internal messages to one another, allowing for an easy way to communicate to large groups or individuals without leaving the DMS. Users have the ability to attach reports, Excel documents, company newsletters and much more to manage day-to-day business.
  • Users in a management role have the ability to set up system-generated alerts based on selected criteria. These alerts allow users to stay knowledgeable about any exceptionsto policy such as purchase order approvals, financing, and new appointments. Users can quickly and seamlessly solve problems and keep their teams moving forward.

“These built-in communications features are a major win for a dealer’s CSI by increasing system utilization through ease of use and more clearly defined processes. Service advisors and technicians can, or will, get more done in the DMS than ever before.” says Van Koppersmith, president of Dominion VUE DMS.
